City of Jacksboro is restoring broken clay pipes and saving taxpayers thousands of dollars

Outside of Dallas, the City of Jacksboro is restoring broken clay pipes and saving taxpayers thousands of dollars at the same time! Last October City Manager Mike Smith, and Robert Tomison saw the Perma-Main™ Continuous Lining Top Gun system in action in New Braunfels-they have been using this pipelining system for a year now. After some research the City of Jacksboro purchased the equipment and began training. Two Perma-Liner™ representatives were sent to train the city workers to effieciently operate equipent to ensure proper lining to the wastewater pipes of Jacksboro. The word spread and city employees from Graham and Breckenridge came to watch the training like Smith and Tomison did in New Braunfels. “This is exciting because we will not have to tear up streets now to repair pipes. It is durable, fast, and economical for several reasons, and it will save the City lots of money. We will be able to repair the infrastructure much more quickly to prepare to repair the streets. And we never have to dig a hole.” said, Mike Smith. The City has already restored 520ft in their first week and has many more scheduled.
