The City of Lubbock is entering its second phase of a sewer renewal project which began in the spring. Residents near Indiana Ave., south of FM 1585, please be advised that beginning this week until mid-August, there will be partial closures when travelling in this area. The sewer advancement is to expand a large diameter sewer line approximately 23,000 feet in South Lubbock. After the completion of the project the pipeline will be from 98th street and University Ave. going South and then West along FM 1585 to Indiana Ave. and finally West to Quaker Ave. The main goal is to extend sanitary sewer service to annexed areas of Lubbock. Your patience during this construction is appreciated.
